Brief Hotel History
Hotel Laguna first opened over 100 years ago, it has then been burned, demolished, and rebuilt a number of times to present what it is today. This iconic hotel on Pacific Coast Highway next to Main Beach has a snazzy Hollywood beachside vibe to it - tall ceilings, classic style, and full of history. I’ve been visiting this hotel for years for its prime location, enjoyable restaurant, and of course, taking in the beautiful Laguna Beach views.
Renovation Reveal!
Hotel Laguna was closed for new renovations and has finally reopened its doors. Once I heard the news, it was at the top of my list to stop by and check out. The lobby and lounge area are full of greenery, stunning art, and stylish interior design.. when can I move in!? I stopped by to try their cocktail bar, but the hotel also has two new restaurants on site. I glanced at the menus and already planning my next visit!
The Hotel Laguna cocktail menu is innovative and diverse using a variety of spirits, and the couple I tried were absolutely delicious! I’ve been dreaming about The Great White cocktail and will eventually attempt to recreate it myself at home. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Italicus Bergamot liqueur. I’ve tried it in a few cocktails elsewhere and haven’t been able to find it in stock! I love the scent of bergamot and now I have found my dream liqueur. Until I can experiment with it on my own, I’ll just have to go back and enjoy it at the Hotel Laguna!

Golden Hour + Happy Hour
Lastly, a successful Happy Hour isn't complete without a Golden Hour... Cocktails are more enjoyable with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the sunset. So plan your Hotel Laguna visit accordingly to hit the best of both worlds. Cheers!
