Wine, dine, and travel with me, LorenBecca! I have been in the restaurant industry for over a decade. I enjoy traveling, exploring new establishments, and have always been passionate about learning more about wine, hospitality, and experiencing the flavors of life!
The hospitality industry has given me the drive to pursue higher education in wine, spirits, and service. In the past year, I have achieved a Level 2 certification from Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and an Introduction Level certification from the Court of Masters Sommeliers of America.
I am looking forward to advancing in my studies and continuing to polish my skills in the beverage and hospitality industry. I am excited for this journey ahead full of tasting, studying, and exploring new wines, regions, and tricks of the trade! I'll be sharing my experience with you, and any industry perks I may run into along the way.

Education & Events
Although I have learned so much about wine from being in the hospitality industry for 10+ years, I want to dive deeper to pursue another passion of mine… wine! I have begun my wine education journey, by completing Level 2 of the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, and also the Introduction Level with the Court of Master Sommeliers. I hope to polish my wine knowledge, tasting skills, and strive to be altogether better at my craft. I’ll be sharing my studies, tastings, and accomplishments on the way, stay tuned!
Managing a restaurant can be difficult in many ways, but it also has industry perks many people don’t know about! I love sharing the unique opportunities my job has given me to try new products at exclusive industry events such as wine tastings, private luncheons, cocktail and spirits tastings, etc. These events bring me to new locations and allows me to network with people who are also in the hospitality industry. Innovation requires experimentation.. don’t mind if I do!

To wine and to dine go hand in hand, so naturally, I also love to dine! Dining out and trying new foods and cocktails is always an adventure. Your experience may provide you with inspiration for your own recipes, seeing presentation ideas, or experiencing a flavor combo you aren't familiar with. And most importantly, the memories you create at these new establishments!

Travel is such a broad term.. it doesn’t always mean booking and planning months in advance and traveling many miles to your destination. Travel can be as simple as a day trip with long afternoon lunches, quick weekend getaways, and spontaneous adventures in nearby cities. This page is for all of the above!
